Son Naava - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Son Naava`s
 Olive plants have been specially selected from the very best Arbequina variety. With its earthy aromatic taste, it is one of the most delicious grown today.
 Only arbequina trees are planted as they thrive in Mallorca's dry, hot summers and alkaline soils. The soil of Son Naava is rich in calcium and has a low pH value, which supports the production of a very special extra virgin olive oil. The grove consists of 3,000 trees that can produce up to 12,000 liters of olive oil annually.
 Demeter biodynamic agriculture is a holistic approach to agriculture. Biodynamic farming practices ensure that the soil is naturally nourished and farmers return more to the soil than they remove when growing crops. The trees are planted on soil that has not been contaminated with pesticides and we make sure that no chemicals have been used in the care and processing of the olives.
  
 The Demeter Association inspects Son Naava twice a year to ensure that all strict rules are followed. The 'Demeter' brand is only awarded to products that have undergone a specified, certified biodynamic production.
