Tapas bowl made from a recycled wine bottle

Wine bottles get a new life here!
 But how does he get the bottles for his bowls so flat? It is the heat that brings the glass to its knees and flattens it. A bed of sand gives the desired shape, and the heat of 720 degrees melts the glass. But only so far that it becomes soft and the walls of the bottle collapse. The glass has to stay in the oven for a whole day because it takes time to “get used to” its new shape.
