The orange wine is white wine with must fermentation, which is produced in a similar way to red wine. Due to the long maceration time during fermentation, the grape skins give off color and valuable ingredients.
After 4 weeks of fermentation on the mash, it was matured for ten months in steel tanks. Sulphurization is avoided and the wine is given plenty of time for its development. The abundance of ingredients and the complexity of the aromas should be preserved - and so the wine is bottled unfiltered.
The Chardonnay Orange is constantly evolving in the glass and shows many different facets. Opened bottles continue to develop over several days - exciting to try this out.
